Our client is a well-known, well established and reputable Facilities Management and Consultancy business. Working in a complex, ever changing environment, our client is currently recruiting an experienced Finance Business Partner for a short-term contract.
This role will see you reporting to the Finance Manager, and working within a finance team of eight who provide accounting and transactions support and financial analysis for the business unit.
As well as supporting and facilitating month end reporting, you will be taking the lead within the team in reviewing current processes.
Your remit is to identify and execute improvements and efficiencies with a key focus on budgeting, forecasting and costing.
You will ideally be CA qualified and you will have worked as a Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant or Finance Analyst previously.
With a number of variables to consider, you will be comfortable operating in a complex environment. Your inquisitive and big picture thinking approach will drive you to ensure you have a detailed understanding of key business drivers.
Not only will you be highly capable in executing the work and creating process, you will need to be able to work closely with the team to ensure everyone is on board.
You will have previous experience in leading a team and will be able to provide examples of where you have designed, implemented and managed budgeting and forecasting processes end to end.
To be able to truly hit the ground running in this short term contract, a strong understanding of costings and contracts is required, so you will have come out of a service industry for example telco, engineering or similar.
