About the Company:
Join a large, well-known public sector organisation that plays an important role in supporting communities across Aotearoa.
You’ll be part of a high-performing team helping shape how data, analytics, and collaboration tools are used across the business to improve efficiency and insight.
About the Role:
This is an opportunity for a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to work across key initiatives in Data and Analytics, Productivity and Collaboration.
You’ll engage with a wide range of stakeholders to understand business needs, analyse data, and help deliver reporting and BI solutions that drive better decision making. It’s a mix of technical analysis and people engagement, so it’ll suit someone who can move comfortably between both worlds.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Partnering with stakeholders to understand data, reporting, and collaboration requirements
- Gathering and documenting business requirements and user stories
- Supporting data warehouse and reporting solutions through analysis and validation
- Working closely with BI developers to ensure outputs meet business needs
- Contributing to digital and data transformation projects across the organisation
About You:
You’re an experienced Senior BA who enjoys working in data rich environments and thrives on bringing structure to complex problems. You know how to balance technical detail with clear communication and are comfortable building relationships across all levels of the organisation.
We’re looking for:
- Proven experience delivering business analysis outcomes in complex or enterprise environments
- Solid understanding of data and reporting systems such as SQL, Oracle, or Db2
- Experience with SAP Data Services or BusinessObjects would be a bonus
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Ability to work in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
- A proactive, self-driven mindset and the ability to work independently
