VMI Coordinator

Supply Chain & Operations - Contract or Temp

As a market leader in their field they are well-established in New Zealand where they supply a diverse range of popular global brands.
   
What?
Due to continued growth in the company, there is an opportunity for a VMI Coordinator to join their successful and high-performing team.

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver inventory replenishment services to the organisation and their clients sales channels. As part of a productive and cross-functional team this role will contribute to and be excited to take on additional supply chain responsibilities as the business evolves. 

Who?
Ideally you are an experienced VMI Coordinator, or alternatively, you have at least 2 years experience in a Supply Chain environment within retail, marketing or distribution background. Building relationships with high profile brands, you will support the team and be committed to ensuring best practices are implemented for them to deliver their competitive advantage. 

To be considered for this role you will meet the following criteria/attributes:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business or Supply Chain
  • Experience in VMI, distribution ERP systems
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Ability to learn and pick up new concepts quickly
  • Strong attention to detail in documentation
  • Strong MS Excel skills are a MUST
  • Strong team-working skills
  • Proven ability to problem-solve 
You will be involved in dynamic projects to improve efficiency, reduce costs and to improve/expand the current capability and of the Supply Chain function.
