About the Role:  

As the Accounts Administrator, you will report to the Directors and be responsible for a range of finance tasks including but not limited to:
 

  • Liaising with Customers and Creditors regarding accounts queries
  • Entering Creditor invoices for Properties
  • Completing Creditor pay runs using ASB Professional Trust software
  • Printing bank statements daily for all accounts and;
  • Receipting all Client payments into Clients Ledgers via software
  • Conducting weekly and monthly bank reconciliations of all Trust accounts
  • Filing GST for registered properties and Annual Tax returns for all properties
  • Debt collection of outstanding amounts
  • Entering Annual Property Budget (prepared by others) and;
  • Prepare and Print levy invoices
  • Raising Proprietor Invoices as required
  • Term Deposit Management (using ASB Professional Trust Software)

Please note, this is a fully officed based role with standard business hours (some flexibility of start times).

About You:   

This role will suit someone who is happy working as part of a small, close-knit team.  You will have worked in a similar role previously and ideally have an interest or understanding of Body Corporate management and/or have an interest in Property.

On top of this you will possess strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, be self-motivated, and deadline driven with a real passion for numbers. Time management and prioritisation will be your forte as well as the ability to work at pace, upholding a high level of resilience and ability to work independently.

You will have:
 
  • 3+ years Accounts Administration/Accounts Assistant experience
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
  • Xero (preferred)
  • Understanding of GST and Tax
  • Computer literacy
