About the Role:
As the Accounts Administrator, you will report to the Directors and be responsible for a range of finance tasks including but not limited to:
- Liaising with Customers and Creditors regarding accounts queries
- Entering Creditor invoices for Properties
- Completing Creditor pay runs using ASB Professional Trust software
- Printing bank statements daily for all accounts and;
- Receipting all Client payments into Clients Ledgers via software
- Conducting weekly and monthly bank reconciliations of all Trust accounts
- Filing GST for registered properties and Annual Tax returns for all properties
- Debt collection of outstanding amounts
- Entering Annual Property Budget (prepared by others) and;
- Prepare and Print levy invoices
- Raising Proprietor Invoices as required
- Term Deposit Management (using ASB Professional Trust Software)
Please note, this is a fully officed based role with standard business hours (some flexibility of start times).
About You:
This role will suit someone who is happy working as part of a small, close-knit team. You will have worked in a similar role previously and ideally have an interest or understanding of Body Corporate management and/or have an interest in Property.
On top of this you will possess strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, be self-motivated, and deadline driven with a real passion for numbers. Time management and prioritisation will be your forte as well as the ability to work at pace, upholding a high level of resilience and ability to work independently.
You will have:
- 3+ years Accounts Administration/Accounts Assistant experience
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
- Xero (preferred)
- Understanding of GST and Tax
- Computer literacy
