About the Role:
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will join a close-knit, collaborative, and very dedicated people team.
Yes – it’s a genuine Business Partnering role;
Yes – it will include all generalist HR expectations, be it ER, performance, engagement, workforce planning, DEI, people metrics and reporting; along with recruitment, succession planning and overall talent management;
Yes – there are people projects!
As a hands-on People & Culture Business Partner you will balance strategic thinking and problem solving, with a roll-your-sleeves up attitude.
Working with leaders, you’ll partner to embed a positive culture, enable performance, and support long-term workforce plans. A hands-on role that will help shape the people experience and build ongoing HR credibility. Be it big or small – this role is involved with ‘all things people’, business-wide.
About You:
Initiative, Initiative, Initiative!... Yes – you’ll have initiative in ‘oodles’!
Having great energy, you are a self-starter, taking anything on! You have this knack of bringing people on the ride with you, through your engaging and collective team approach.
Although very confident in your craft of HR and NZER – this balanced with an engaging manner, and humbleness!
Experience includes well-honed NZ Employment Law knowledge and HR Partnering, along with proven experience driving forward people programs and initiatives, related to Talent, workforce and succession planning, EVP and attraction strategies. Your service delivery ethic goes without saying, as does your system savvy. (Workday or Teamtailor knowledge could certainly be beneficial).
With all of this, you’re naturally inquisitive, so you actually ‘want’ to know the ‘why’ and you totally understand the end-to-end employee lifecycle. This means you’re a super storyteller, providing rationale and reasoning to support your ideas, suggestions and solutions.
Change doesn’t faze you in the least, so you can pivot however is needed. Now it’s time to pivot your HR career!!
