This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Key Account Executive or early-career Account Manager who’s ready to own a major customer relationship in a business that values pace, creativity, and doing the right thing.
About the Role:
- Lead the Foodstuffs South Island and route retailer portfolio.
- Deliver budgeted sales and profitability by executing effective customer plans.
- Implement pricing strategies that balance customer needs with MADE’s commercial goals.
- Play an active role in forecasting, budgeting, and the S&OP process.
- Identify and unlock growth levers – new product launches, assortment optimisation, promotional planning.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with key customers and host them at MADE HQ.
- Partner with the field sales team to drive store-level opportunities and excellence in execution.
- Keep on top of category insights, trends, and competitor activity.
- Work cross-functionally with demand, sales, and admin teams to keep the business aligned and agile.
About You:
- Strong analytical skills – you're confident working with financials and Circana data to tell a story.
- Clear and articulate communication – you can hold the room in a customer presentation.
- Solid commercial and organisational acumen – detail matters, and you’ve got structure.
- A collaborative mindset with resilience, energy, and positivity.
- Ideally experience in FMCG account management but you might be a superstar Key Account Executive ready for a step up.
