About the role
Reporting to the CEO, this position carries end-to-end responsibility for finance across the group. You will lead financial reporting, statutory accounting, financial control and day-to-day finance operations, while elevating reporting and analytics to provide the insight required for confident, well-informed commercial decisions.Working in close partnership with the CEO, you will be a key enabler of growth. The role offers real exposure and the chance to contribute meaningfully to strategy, performance, and long-term value creation, while engaging closely with senior leaders across the business.
You will
- Bring strong financial and management accounting capability to lead all financial accounting activities.
- Partner with the CEO and Board to shape financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Deliver accurate monthly management accounts, board reporting, and consolidated annual financial statements.
- Ensure the integrity of the P&L, balance sheet, and key reconciliations.
- Oversee financial risk across accounting, tax, and operational finance.
- Provide clear, high-quality insight and analysis to inform strategic and commercial decisions.
- Develop robust financial modelling and evaluation to support initiatives and investment choices.
About you
You are a qualified accountant with a well-rounded background across financial management, reporting, and analysis. You are motivated by being close to the business, taking ownership, and making a tangible impact. A hands-on operator, you combine strong technical capability with sound judgement and the ability to communicate with clarity and influence.
You value accuracy and integrity, are comfortable working in the detail, and maintain a clear view of the bigger picture. You bring proven analytical strength and can translate financial information into practical commercial insight. Your steady, thoughtful approach to problem-solving, coupled with a collaborative style, enables you to build trust across the organisation.
