About the Opportunity

  • Play a key role in implementing national commercial strategies within your region while influencing future category direction at a national level.
  • Lead end-to-end commercial activities, from category planning and procurement through to contract award, supplier management and ongoing performance.
  • Build strong relationships with regional suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive innovation, improve outcomes and ensure contractual compliance.
  • Contribute to an organisation committed to maximising public value through smarter procurement, sustainable practices and customer-focused commercial solutions.

What You'll Bring

  • Extensive procurement, commercial or category management experience, ideally within a complex or infrastructure-related environment.
  • Proven success developing and implementing category strategies that deliver commercial value and support organisational objectives.
  • Strong contract negotiation and supplier management experience, with the ability to manage complex commercial arrangements.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, including financial analysis, market assessment and the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities through data-driven decision making.
  • A collaborative leadership style, strong stakeholder engagement skills and a sound understanding of commercial governance, contracting obligations and regional supplier markets.
