A newly-created role within a newly formed business – what an opportunity!
As the Procurement Lead, you will:
- Lead strategic sourcing, vendor governance, and commercial contracting across the business.
- Operate within a high-availability, uptime-critical environment where procurement directly influences infrastructure resilience, lifecycle performance, regulatory compliance, and operational risk.
- Ensure all goods and services procured, particularly critical infrastructure and maintenance services, align with approved engineering standards, technical governance requirements, and long-term asset strategies.
The role operates as a key commercial partner to Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Project Delivery, embedding structured procurement governance across capital programmes and BAU operations.
What You’ll Bring
You will have a good level of procurement experience in a complex infrastructure, utilities, construction, or mission-critical environment and have demonstrated experience negotiating technically complex contracts. If you have experience in data centres, hyperscale infrastructure, or other high-availability environments that would be a real plus.
