About the Role:
The Education Manager is responsible for implementing and delivering VNZ’s Coach and Referee Development Frameworks. Reporting to the GM Community, you will lead education programmes, create resources, and deliver training opportunities online and in person. You’ll recruit and support a national network of Educators, ensure consistency of delivery across regions, and embed equity and cultural responsiveness into all programmes.
About You:
You have a strong background in coaching and/or referee education, with experience developing and delivering programmes. A confident facilitator and relationship-builder, you bring cultural competence, resilience, and adaptability. You thrive on collaboration and are motivated to create sustainable pathways that grow capability nationwide. Relevant qualifications in education, sport development, or referee/coach instruction are preferred.
Success in this role will be measured by:
- Implementation of national coach & referee frameworks
- Growth of the educator network across regions
- Consistency and quality of education delivery
- Greater access to learning opportunities nationwide
