We need you. We’re partnering with a well-funded Auckland deep-tech start-up building clever software used by engineers designing real-world infrastructure.
Think roads, transport networks, and complex engineering systems but powered by modern software.
As the team grows, they’re looking for a Junior QA Software Tester who’s curious, analytical, and maybe just a little bit obsessed with making sure things work exactly the way they should.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to learn fast, work with smart engineers, and be part of a growing tech company.
What You’ll Bring
- Have 1–3 years’ experience in QA or software testing (or something similar) ·
- Hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field ·
- Understand testing basics like test cases, defects, and regression testing ·
- Are curious about automation testing ·
- Enjoy figuring out how systems actually work Nice-to-haves (but not dealbreakers)
- Exposure to desktop apps (WPF), web testing, or integration testing
- Some SQL knowledge
- Any familiarity with engineering tools like CAD, Civil 3D, or 12d The kind of person who thrives here
- Curious and analytical
- Enjoys problem solving
- Likes working closely with developers
- Takes pride in shipping quality software
