About the Opportunity
This is a senior leadership opportunity within a privately owned New Zealand group, overseeing a division that designs, manufactures, and delivers products that enhance outdoor living spaces across residential and commercial settings. The business operates through a combination of a nationally distributed licensee network and a vertically integrated design-to-installation model, giving it broad market reach and strong customer proximity. With an established presence and solid foundations, the division is now entering a critical phase of integration, performance improvement, and growth, requiring a hands-on, commercially driven leader to guide it forward. 

Reporting to the Group CEO, this role will suit someone who can balance strategic thinking with execution, lead change effectively, and deliver tangible results.
  • Lead and align two complementary operating models (licensee network and direct delivery) through integration and transformation
  • Drive improved commercial performance, including revenue growth, sales effectiveness, and margin enhancement
  • Take full ownership of divisional financial performance, including P&L, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies across design, manufacturing, and installation processes
  • Build a high-performance, accountable culture while strengthening leadership capability and team alignment
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven senior leadership experience with a track record of driving turnaround, growth, and improved business performance
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with demonstrated ownership of P&L, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Experience operating within manufacturing, construction, building products, or similar environments, ideally with exposure to multi-site or multi-brand models
  • Ability to lead sales growth and improve commercial outcomes, including strengthening sales capability and conversion performance
  • Hands-on, pragmatic leadership style with the ability to drive operational efficiency, lead change, and build a high-performance, accountable culture
