An opportunity to step into a senior communications role where you’ll operate as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and contribute to work that has real impact.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team, leading communications strategy and delivery across a range of initiatives. This is a role where you’ll influence, guide, and add value at a strategic level, while still being close to delivery.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the development and delivery of communications strategies
- Providing trusted advice to senior leaders and key stakeholders
- Managing reputational risk and supporting high-profile communications
- Developing high-quality content including media responses, speeches, and messaging
- Supporting engagement with internal and external stakeholders, including ministerial offices
- Monitoring media and identifying risks and opportunities
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in a senior communications advisor role
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align communications to organisational priorities
- Experience working in complex environments, ideally within government or public sector
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and providing advice
- Strong writing skills across a range of formats
- Understanding of media and issues management
