About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Policy Analyst to join a high-performing policy team working on a significant legislative programme with national impact across funding systems and growth-focused reform.

This is an opportunity to step into a fast-paced and high-profile environment where you will lead complex legislative work through key stages of the policy and parliamentary process.

About the Role
You will play a key role in progressing legislation designed to improve how funding systems are structured and delivered to support long-term growth and development outcomes.

Working closely with policy, legal and parliamentary drafting specialists, you will lead the policy and legislative process through to Bill introduction.

This role sits within a busy policy team delivering multiple Cabinet and legislative priorities and offers the chance to work across a range of stakeholders, including Ministers’ offices, central government agencies and sector partners.

This role is a full-time, fixed-term contract for six months.

What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience leading legislative policy projects through Cabinet and Bill development stages
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality policy and briefing material
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate competing priorities and timelines
  • Confidence working in complex, ambiguous environments with changing priorities and tight timeframes
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and technical experts
