About the Opportunity
Tribe is pleased to be partnering with a locally owned Financial Services business operating across NZ and Australia, with strong values at its core.
- An exciting time to join the business, they have experienced rapid growth and are going from strength to strength.
- This role will see you reporting to the Head of Finance, leading a finance team to drive a high-performing, collaborative culture and manage the finance function across both NZ and Australia.
- Own month-end and core financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Improve finance processes, systems, controls and compliance (bring a clear view of what “good” looks like).
- You will take the lead in co-ordinating with external Auditors.
- Partner closely with the wider finance leadership team and senior stakeholders.
- Help uplift the finance function so it keeps pace with business growth.
What You’ll Bring
- You will have proven experience as a hands-on Finance Manager, who can lead, coach mentor and work alongside your team.
- You will add value with your strong process improvement mindset (controls, governance, compliance, systems).
- Previous experience working with both NZ & Australian Payroll would be a big advantage.
- A strong communicator, you will be confident collaborating with peers and senior leaders; able to influence and drive change.
- This role will suit someone who is proactive, resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- You will be CA / CPA qualified.
- We are open to industries, experience in Financial Services would be beneficial.
What’s on Offer
- This is an initial 6-month Fixed Term Contract, there could well be further extension to this or even an permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
- We are looking for someone to start this role no later than 27th July
- A competitive salary is on offer
- Based in Avondale, this is an onsite role with flexibility around start and finish times and parking provided
