About the Role:

Reporting to the General Manager, the National Retail Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in the development and operational execution of the retail strategy of the business, driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, enhancing customer satisfaction, and implementing strategic initiatives.
Working as part of a small head office team, the National Retail Operations Manager is accountable for 21 Wet & Forget stores across the country and will play a critical role in driving performance across the retail stores as they look to drive growth across the Wet and Forget ecosystem.

We are seeking an experienced multi-site retail leader with a track record of driving sales growth, improving operational processes & efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction with a proven ability to manage multi-location teams and implement strategic initiatives, while being hands on as well. We are looking for someone with strong retail fundamental skills to bring solid processes and structures to high performing stores.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and develop the retail team through recruitment, coaching, training and succession planning.
  • Laser focus on driving sales and performance in our stores
  • Champion an exceptional customer service culture
  • Co-develop annual strategic initiatives that form the roadmap for growth.
  • Develop & manage annual operational budgets in line with strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and execute a Retail Operational Plan to include growing customer base, optimize margin and enhance customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with the commercial, finance and production teams to optimise sales, margin and availability.
  • Support category development, new product development & innovation.

About You:
  • You will have Multisite retail operations experience within the Retail sector (we are open to industry here) with a proven track record of driving a people centric, high-performance culture with proven results.
  • We are open to level here – this is an intermediate to senior level role so could suit an upcomer ready to make their mark or a more established candidate looking for a change in sector and chance to join a business is an exciting time of change.
  • You will be an ambitious go getter who wants to bring solid initiative into the business,  and you are really keen to make an impact and difference regarding the operational execution of the retail strategy.
