Apply
About the Company:

Goodman Property Trust is New Zealand’s leading warehouse and logistics space provider with a portfolio valued at $4.7 billion. Goodman owns, develops and manages high-quality, sustainable properties that are close to consumers and provide essential infrastructure for the digital economy.

While boutique in team size (around 70 people), Goodman operates at a scale comparable to New Zealand’s largest listed entities. With high levels of tenure, and a genuine team-first culture, Goodman balances performance with humility. This is a busy, active business with solid institutional knowledge to support this role.

With a substantial portfolio of large-scale industrial property estates and an enduring commitment to sustainability and community, Goodman operates with a long-term view—investing in both its people and the places it shapes.

Based in central Auckland and moving into new offices in Wynyard Quarter soon, they have a diverse and inclusive workplace, and this role comes with the potential for both STI and LTI. This is a company  you will want to work at!

About the Role:

This is a great opportunity to step into a strategic,  end-to-end communications role, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with senior stakeholders including the CFO, General Counsel, Head of Finance, analysts and marketing.

This role is well-suited to someone who is an outstanding communicator (both verbal and written). We are looking for a candidate who is confident working with information, understands financial communications, and enjoys writing clear, accurate and engaging content for a range of audiences.

This role is responsible for all external corporate communications, with the potential to work on some internal comms, and will help manage the Trust’s charitable activities through the Goodman Foundation in New Zealand. It’s a fantastic role!

Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing and verifying NZX announcements, including offering documents, AGM content, and inputting into day-to-day investor communications.
  • Managing the submitting of key corporate information into the NZX MAP platform and ensuring the timely disclosure of key information in accordance with the timeframes prescribed under the NZX listing rules.
  • Writing and coordinating annual reports, market updates, and company presentations.
  • Supporting the CEO and CFO with messaging, strategy, and investor communications.
  • Leading narrative development across web, email, investor centre, and external channels.
  • Overseeing Goodman Foundation activity including partner engagement, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Supporting best practice and continuous improvement of communications using tools like Microsoft Copilot.
  • Ensuring governance compliance with NZX and FMA requirements.
  • Collaborating across finance, marketing, and property teams to ensure messaging is accurate and aligned.
  • Ensuring all communications reflect the business’ tone and values.

About You:

You’re an intermediate to senior level Corporate Communications Manager.
You are a  confident, capable  and collaborative communicator who thrives in purpose-led environments and values clarity over noise.

You are a good listener, can read a room and know how to ensure the brand messaging and tone is correct and consistent across all comms touchpoints.

You bring:
  • External communications—ideally in a  NZX listed, financial, or property-based organisation.
  • A strong understanding of NZX, and FMA governance requirements, financial disclosure, and corporate reporting.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to distil complex information into engaging, accurate content.
  • Experience with investor communications, NZX releases, and stakeholder messaging.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, and confidence using the Microsoft Office suite.
  • A team-first approach with a calm, professional communication style and strong organisational skills.
  • A practical, reliable working style and an interest in contributing to an experienced team.
  • This is a role with scope to grow and contribute more over time. It would suit someone who enjoys collaborating behind the scenes to help ensure messages are clear, timely, and aligned with business goals.

You may be ready to step into more responsibility, or you might be looking to join a business that values stability, integrity, and impact. Either way, you're someone who embraces modern tools, works well with data, and communicates with authenticity and care.
