About the Role: 
This is a temporary Recruitment Coordinator role starting ASAP, where you’ll play a crucial part in supporting high-volume recruitment. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
The role is admin-heavy with a recruitment lens – ideal for someone who enjoys organising, communicating, and supporting hiring managers through a hands-on, end-to-end process. You'll need to be confident using initiative, handling pressure, and operating with cultural awareness.
This is a full-time, in-office role based in Wellington, CBD.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate and support full-cycle recruitment processes
  • Write and post job advertisements on platforms like Seek
  • Screen and shortlist candidates, and maintain regular communication
  • Schedule interviews and sit in to support the Recruitment Advisor
  • Conduct verbal reference checks
  • Manage aptitude and psychometric testing and related admin
  • Draft employment contracts and coordinate internal approvals
  • Provide admin support for the HR inbox and wider team
  • Ensure documentation complies with internal processes and legislation
  • Assist with additional HR admin and project coordination as needed
About You: 
  • Proven experience in recruitment coordination or HR administration
  • Comfortable managing multiple vacancies and stakeholders at pace
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building ability
  • Culturally competent – knowledge of Te Reo Māori and Tikanga Māori is essential 
  • Proactive, efficient, and calm under pressure
