About the Opportunity
We’re currently partnering with a well-established New Zealand life insurance and income protection provider to recruit a Customer Service Support Officer to join their Auckland team.

As a key point of contact for customers, you’ll help ensure a positive experience across the full policy lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Responding to customer enquiries and providing clear, empathetic, professional support via phone, email and webchat
  • Assisting with policy changes and general administration
  • Managing complaints or escalations in a solutions-focused manner
  • Processing new business applications and guiding customers through requirements
  • Coordinating medical and supporting documentation for underwriting assessments
  • Maintaining accurate records across internal systems and CRM platforms

This is a full-time role, with shifts Monday-Friday between 8.30am – 5.30pm.

What You’ll Bring 
You’ll be someone who enjoys helping customers and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service. You’re organised, detail-oriented and comfortable balancing competing priorities.

We’re ideally looking for someone with:
  • Experience in life insurance or a similar financial services background
  • A minimum of 2 years in a phone or email-based customer service role
  • Exposure to insurance policy administration, working within underwriting guidelines, and claims support
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy
  •  A warm, customer-centric personality
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
