About the Opportunity 
  • Exciting opportunity to join a well-established and growing sports organisation in a key Venue Manager position
  • Responsible for overseeing operations across multiple tennis and community-based facilities across Auckland
  • Lead and deliver capital improvement projects alongside ongoing repairs and maintenance planning
  • Play a key role in driving increased utilisation of venues through events, partnerships, and community engagement
  • Manage a small, dedicated team
  • Work closely with a collaborative and forward-thinking senior leader focused on growth and facility excellence

What You’ll Bring 
  • Proven experience in facilities, venue, or operations management, ideally with at least 5 years under your belt
  • Strong project management capability, with experience delivering capital works or large-scale maintenance projects
  • Solid understanding of health and safety requirements, with the ability to ensure compliance across multiple sites
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to prioritise projects and balance budgets effectively
  • Experience improving venue utilisation, increasing bookings, or supporting revenue growth initiatives
  • Confident communicator who can build relationships with contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams
