About the Opportunity
- Exciting opportunity to join a well-established and growing sports organisation in a key Venue Manager position
- Responsible for overseeing operations across multiple tennis and community-based facilities across Auckland
- Lead and deliver capital improvement projects alongside ongoing repairs and maintenance planning
- Play a key role in driving increased utilisation of venues through events, partnerships, and community engagement
- Manage a small, dedicated team
- Work closely with a collaborative and forward-thinking senior leader focused on growth and facility excellence
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in facilities, venue, or operations management, ideally with at least 5 years under your belt
- Strong project management capability, with experience delivering capital works or large-scale maintenance projects
- Solid understanding of health and safety requirements, with the ability to ensure compliance across multiple sites
- Commercially minded, with the ability to prioritise projects and balance budgets effectively
- Experience improving venue utilisation, increasing bookings, or supporting revenue growth initiatives
- Confident communicator who can build relationships with contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams
