The role of Management Accountant is varied and will see you:
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Assist with analysing financial performance against budget, providing clear commentary and insights
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls
- Assist with GST and FBT compliance, ensuring deadlines are met
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, supporting wider business planning
- Get involved in process improvements and ad-hoc analysis to support business decision-making
What You’ll Bring
- This role is going to be suited to a candidate with previous experience working in a broad accounting role in a complex business.
- You will likely be CA / CPA qualified or similar, or well on your way to completing your qualifications.
- Quick learning agility and strengths across systems and process will see you add value quickly to the team.
- An ability to communicate effectively within the finance team as well as with stakeholders across the business and a team player attitude will be key to your success.
