About the Opportunity
If you love the part of account management where you’re genuinely in a client’s world — building trust with senior stakeholders, getting ahead of issues, and turning insight into action — this one’s worth a look.
Yoogo Fleet is part of the Speirs Finance Group, a New Zealand-owned financial services business with strong momentum and a sharp commercial lens. Through Yoogo Fleet, the team partners with organisations to run smarter, more efficient vehicle fleets — combining funding expertise, fleet optimisation, supplier relationships and digital capability to deliver real-world outcomes.
Yoogo Fleet is reshaping the way organisations manage their assets. They combine real-world expertise with cutting-edge SaaS technology, helping customers drive smarter, more sustainable operations.
This is a key hire into Yoogo’s most strategic portfolio - supporting high-value corporate customers with high expectations, and a role designed to be out in market with customers and suppliers while delivering exceptional strategic outcomes.
This isn’t a reactive, admin-heavy account management role. Pls note the official title is “Key Account Manager” . It’s a strategic, relationship-led Key Account Manager position where success looks like:
- Owning and growing outcomes across a large corporate portfolio (typically ~50–500 vehicles per customer)
- Building proactive account plans ahead of renewals and key contract milestones
- Being the “voice of the customer” internally — and the “voice of the business” externally
- Driving delivery against SLAs (Yoogo is effectively an on-site supplier for many customers)
- Lifting the quality of conversations using data and insights (Power BI is part of the toolkit, with real appetite to “supercharge” smarter/AI-enabled ways of working)
Yoogo Fleet continues to grow, even in a turbulent market — and this role sits right at the centre of that growth.
Your Relationships
You’ll be multi-threading externally (not single-contact), typically across:
- Fleet Managers, Procurement and Finance/CFO stakeholders
- Senior operational leaders and decision makers (CEO/MD-level depending on the customer)
Internally, you’ll be supported by a strong matrix, with leadership brought in at the right moments — and there’s a big focus on building broad relationship coverage (reducing single-point-of-dependency risk).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and execute strategic account plans that drive retention, satisfaction and growth
- Your corporate customers will have clients for 18 months +
- Run forward-looking customer reviews (monthly/quarterly/annual) that turn insight into action
- Identify value-add opportunities across leasing and service options
- Coordinate solutions end-to-end — you own outcomes, not just the problem statement
- Lead responses to customer RFPs and support commercial negotiations when needed
- Use reporting and analysis to validate recommendations and strengthen commercial rigour
- Maintain a high-trust communication rhythm — responsive, dependable, and genuinely service-led
What You’ll Bring
- Proven senior account leadership in a corporate B2B environment (minimum 5 years)
- Comfortable presenting to — and holding your own with — senior stakeholders / C-suite
- Commercially accountable: you bring solutions and validation, not just requests for concessions
- Proactive once grounded: you don’t wait for permission to get moving
- Reliable communicator with a genuine care factor (and clear cover plans when you’re travelling)
- Analytical and insight-led in a Microsoft environment (Power BI exposure is highly regarded)
- Curious and practical about smarter ways of working (including useful applications of AI , and be a play a key part in developing innovative solutions for customers
Fleet/vehicles/leasing/telematics exposure is a plus — but not essential. Adjacent financial services sector is also good.
If you’re a strong strategic account leader from another sector and bring fresh eyes, stakeholder EQ, and disciplined execution, Yoogo Fleet is open to that.
We’re looking for someone who is collaborative, has high follow-through, service-led and internally well-networked. Someone with energy and optimism (a spring in your step), who’s not wedded to “how it’s always been done”, and who can flex their style depending on the customer.
Travel is part of the role (mostly day trips), with occasional overnight travel every few months.
What’s on Offer
- High-impact portfolio, real influence: Own Yoogo Fleet’s most strategic corporate accounts (50–500 vehicles) and be the senior, trusted partner shaping outcomes and renewals.
- Strong support + modern toolkit: Backed by a collaborative leadership team, with the data/insight tools (Power BI + appetite for practical AI) to run proactive, value-led account plans.
- You’ll join a dynamic, collaborative team with deep expertise across automotive, finance, and technology. The culture is commercial, energetic, high performing and supportive - a place where great ideas are backed, effort is recognised, and results are rewarded.
- Solid base salary, company vehicle, and a compelling performance incentive structure with genuine upside for a strong operator. If you’re someone who loves owning outcomes and growing accounts, there’s strong upside here.
