About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a well-established New Zealand organisation seeking an experienced Payroll Lead to provide temporary support during a busy transition period.
This hands-on role will see you supporting BAU payroll operations within a complex environment alongside an ongoing HRIS implementation, working as part of a collaborative and experienced HR and payroll team.
- Lead day-to-day payroll processing across fortnightly and monthly cycles
- Work within a complex payroll environment with multiple collective agreements
- Provide stability and expertise during a key transition period
- Partner closely with an experienced payroll and HR team
- Based onsite in Māngere with parking available
What You’ll Bring
This role will suit someone calm under pressure, highly organised, and confident working within fast-moving environments where accuracy and reliability are critical.
- Strong end-to-end payroll experience within medium-large organisations
- Recent hands-on PayGlobal experience is highly preferred
- Ability to quickly pick up processes and hit the ground running
- Experience managing payroll complexities including allowances and agreements
- A collaborative, warm, and team-focused working style
