Rockit Global requires a hands-on, commercially minded General Manager People and Culture. It’s time to write the next chapters of this great kiwi innovation story, as the business executes an ambitious three-year turnaround and global growth plan.
- You will join at a pivotal point – with strong momentum and ambitious plans, there is plenty to shape.
- This is a senior, enterprise-wide, people leadership role that will influence and enable - from the pack house to the Board table.
- As part of a nine-strong SLT, you’ll work alongside the CEO to uplift capability and take those great things already achieved to the next level.
- Provide meaningful people insights to the Board and support governance-level decisions.
- Lead a team of five - create the rhythm, and lift performance through best practice and adaptive ways of working – at pace!
What You’ll Bring
- Be it a step-up to your first ‘big gig’ or be it you’re a seasoned practitioner – what you will bring is a track record leading senior P&C portfolios in complex, fast-moving organisations through growth and change.
- Your experience to date will, without question, have included a global remit, ideally with Asia as a key stakeholder.
- Your critical thinking, and commercial nous allows you to challenge thinking and hold people to account – all with humility.
- Change leadership is a given – be it navigating structure shifts, managing cost pressure, or competing priorities, you take it all in your stride, while delivering to a dynamic change agenda.
- Having a ‘relationship-first’ approach – you’re involved, you’re curious and you bring passion; a natural enabler.
- While being exceptionally strategic, your experience in the SME space brings hands-on pragmatism, instinctively knowing when to roll up the sleeves.
- Curiosity and modern thinking evidence your adoption of AI and change. You’re a thought-leadership in this space and you do it with conviction.
- At the “core” of it – you’re a great human being, passionate about what you do, and you know your ‘why’.
