The role:
Working closely with leaders and partnering across the organisation, you’ll provide end-to-end HR coaching and advice while also leading and contributing to projects that strengthen people practices. You’ll be trusted to operate with sound judgement, navigate ambiguity, and bring a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting leaders with coaching, guidance and practical next steps on people matters
  • Owning and improving key HR processes (including performance cycles and development planning)
  • Leading and contributing to proactive HR projects and initiatives
  • Supporting induction and capability-building activity across the organisation
  • Building strong internal relationships and contributing to a collaborative People & Capability team culture

What we’re looking for:
  • Solid experience in an HR advisory/generalist role (senior level), with confidence across core HR disciplines
  • Strong working knowledge of NZ employment legislation (public sector exposure welcomed)
  • A proactive, project-minded approach. You’ll be someone who sees what’s needed and delivers through to completion
