About the Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to build and lead the marketing function for NZ Clinical Research (NZCR), one of Australasia’s leading clinical research organisations. Reporting to the Group Chief Strategy Officer, this newly created role will shape group wide marketing, brand, and global communications strategy.
With strong growth behind it and ambitious plans ahead, NZCR is focused on strengthening its market presence, unifying its brand portfolio, and building a modern marketing capability to support continued expansion. This role will play a pivotal part in elevating customer engagement, enhancing internal communications, and positioning the organisation as a leading clinical research partner on the global stage.
- Develop and execute the group wide marketing, brand, and communications strategy across New Zealand, Australia, US, Europe and China
- Lead the evolution of brand architecture, positioning, messaging, and market presence across multiple business units
- Design and implement customer engagement, demand generation, and lead nurturing programmes for global customers
- Build scalable marketing systems, processes, and governance frameworks across the organisation
- Shape internal communications, employee engagement, and employer brand initiatives across a 1,000 person trans-Tasman workforce
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience leading B2B marketing, brand, or communications functions in a complex, multi-site, or multi-market environment
- Strong strategic capability combined with a willingness to build capability and execute in a greenfield role
- Demonstrated success developing brand strategy, customer engagement programmes, and demand generation initiatives
- Experience establishing marketing processes, systems, and governance frameworks that support growth
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build credibility across diverse technical and operational teams
- Experience working with international customers and distributed teams across multiple geographies
- Strong data literacy with experience using marketing analytics, CRM platforms, and performance metrics to drive decisions
- Exposure to healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, technology, or other highly regulated industries is advantageous
