About the Opportunity
We're partnering with a New Zealand technology business operating within the growing WealthTech sector.
Due to team growth and internal movement, we're looking for Senior Software Engineer to join a team responsible for the ongoing development of a large-scale cloud-based platform used within the financial services industry.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex systems, contribute to technical decisions, and help shape the future direction of a platform that continues to evolve.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions
- Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions
- Participate in code reviews and support engineering best practices
- Work closely with developers, testers, analysts, and stakeholders in Agile Scrum teams
- Deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable software
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of systems, processes, and development standards
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience
- Strong experience developing enterprise applications
- Experience with modern Microsoft development technologies (C#, .NET, Entity Framework, LINQ and related technologies)
- Experience with web-based applications and modern front-end frameworks
- Experience working with SQL databases (SQL Server, T-SQL or similar)
- Understanding of secure coding principles and software quality practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
