About the Opportunity
- We’re seeking a candidate with experience in project coordination, or similar, who has strong communication skills and has the ability to streamline processes and improve efficiency to support a government-sector client
- This is a temporary role until early-December, starting ASAP, based in Wellington CBD
- Supporting the team with communications planning and streamlining workflows
- Coordinating content across internal and external communication channels
- Maintaining and coordinating feedback to contribute to process improvements or the development of new tools and processes
- Utilising project management tools for tracking, monitoring, and accountability
- Providing administrative support, including booking meetings, preparing agendas, arranging catering, managing travel bookings, and taking minutes
What You’ll Bring
- We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who is a team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and short timeframes
- Strong project coordination is essential, experience in engagement or communications experience is helpful
- Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Ability to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Team player with an analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Confident using tools such as MS Planner, Excel, Power BI and reporting dashboards
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to synthesise information into clear, concise outputs
