Employment type: Permanent, part-time
Location: Wellington (in office), with some regional travel
Salary: $105-$120k pro rata
Start date: By negotiation

What You’ll Bring

Demonstrated submission and policy writing (select committees, councils, consultations)
Strong understanding of the NZ public policy environment (legislative, regulatory, and local government)
Ability to move between formal submissions, ministerial briefings, and plain-language updates
Research and synthesis capability to translate data and stakeholder input into a defensible position
Strong stakeholder engagement, ability to connect well in person and build trusted relationships
Sound judgement, discretion, and a strictly non-partisan approach
Interest in (or experience with) presenting, facilitation, forums, or hearings (nice to have, not essential)
