About the Opportunity
- Provide practical, high-quality policy advice for Ministers and senior leaders
- Lead and manage moderately complex policy projects, end-to-end
- Build options papers that weigh costs, risks, benefits and implementation impacts
- Partner with delivery teams so implementation is embedded in policy development
- Work across agencies and stakeholder groups to bring diverse perspectives into advice
What You’ll Bring
- Experience producing clear, concise written advice using sound policy frameworks
- Strong research and analytical capability; confident using data and literature
- Knowledge of the public sector environment and the Machinery of Government
- Strong relationship skills and the ability to work across diverse stakeholders
- A strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its implications for policy work
