About the Opportunity
Our client is looking for a Continuous Improvement Coach to help turn customer feedback and data into meaningful, practical improvements across a complex organisation.
This is a highly collaborative role sitting at the intersection of data, customer experience, continuous improvement and people. You’ll be responsible for identifying trends and opportunities through customer feedback, then working with teams to understand the root causes and turn those insights into action.
You’ll need to be as comfortable working with data as you are working with people. This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit behind a dashboard all day — you’ll be out amongst teams, facilitating conversations, running workshops and helping people understand what the data is telling them and, importantly, what they can do about it.
What You’ll be Doing
- Analyse customer feedback, survey results and other data to identify trends, themes, detractors and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate complex data and analytical findings into clear, practical insights that different audiences can understand and act on.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions with a broad range of stakeholders, from frontline teams through to senior leaders.
- Support teams with root cause analysis and help them identify practical solutions to recurring issues.
- Build strong relationships across different teams and adapt your communication style depending on your audience.
- Help embed continuous improvement practices and encourage teams to take ownership of improvements.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who brings a strong combination of analytical capability, communication skills and coaching experience.
You’ll ideally have:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, patterns and underlying issues within data.
- Strong Power BI experience and confidence working with data and reporting tools.
- Experience working with customer feedback, NPS, Voice of Customer or similar customer insight data would be highly beneficial.
- Experience facilitating workshops, meetings or group discussions, with the confidence to engage different types of audiences.
- The ability to turn data and insights into clear, easy-to-understand messages and practical actions.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships across different teams and levels of seniority.
- A genuine interest in continuous improvement and helping organisations work better.
- A can-do, adaptable and open-minded approach, with a willingness to listen, take feedback and learn.
- The confidence and personality to get out amongst the business, build rapport quickly and work collaboratively with a wide range of people.
What’s in it for you?
This is a great opportunity to step into a role where you can have genuine cross-functional impact and see the results of your work across an entire organisation.
You’ll join a supportive team environment where you’ll have plenty of autonomy, development opportunities and exposure to a wide range of stakeholders.
The role is primarily office-based, reflecting the highly collaborative nature of the position and the need to work closely with teams across the organisation.
The package includes:
- Base salary of approximately $85k ($100k-$110k total remuneration with Kiwisaver and bonuses included)
- Annual performance-based bonus
- Medical insurance
- Life insurance
- Income protection insurance
- Strong opportunities for professional development and career growth
