Office Coordinator

Apply
About the Opportunity
Our client is a respected professional association representing dentists and dental specialists across New Zealand. Their purpose is to support the dental profession through advocacy, professional development, knowledge sharing, and trusted representation — ultimately helping improve oral health outcomes for communities throughout New Zealand.
With a close-knit team of approximately 10 office-based staff (and 20 staff overall), this is an organisation where people are trusted to take ownership, contribute ideas, and work together to achieve meaningful outcomes.
We’re looking for a proactive and personable part-time Office Coordinator to become the heartbeat of a close-knit professional office.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Be the welcoming face of the organisation, managing reception and visitor enquiries
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to general enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Coordinate couriers, mail, deliveries, and general office correspondence
  • Manage office supplies, stationery, facilities, and general administration
  • Support meetings, events, conferences, and organisational initiatives
  • Assist with administrative tasks across the wider team
This is a part-time role (30 hours per week), working in office Mon-Fri, 9am – 3pm so will be perfect for someone looking to have flexibility around school drop off/pick up times.

What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who is organised, approachable, reliable, and naturally proactive.
  • Previous experience in office coordination, administration, reception, or business support
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills
  • A professional and welcoming manner
  • Strong initiative and the confidence to work independently
  • A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to pitch in

What’s In It For You?
  • Part-time hours to suit genuine work life balance
  • A key position within a respected national organisation
  • A supportive and collaborative team environment
  • An approachable, forward-thinking leadership team
  • On-site parking
  • The opportunity to contribute to meaningful work supporting the dental profession across New Zealand
