Delivery Driver

About the Role:

 

This role will see you working within a well-known, values driven and highly regarded retail and financial services provider in Whangarei.

 

A busy role reporting to the Branch Manager, this role will require you to be on the road delivering products to customers and offering great customer service when in people’s homes. We are looking for people that are comfortable lifting heavy items and with confidence installing electrical and homewares when customers need extra help.

 

Your day to day in this role will include:

 

  • Driving to deliver customer orders in the Whangarei to Warkworth area
  • Face to face Customer service in the home, maintaining great customer service standards that the company is known for
  • Liaise with the credit controllers to support with contract agreements
  • Relationship Building with regular clients – discussing credit options with customers experiencing financial hardship  

 

This role would suit someone who enjoys being on the road working with customers and enjoys variety in their day!

 

The hours for this store are:

 

  • Monday to Friday 8.30 am – 5 pm
  • Saturday 9 am – 2 pm (note this may change in the future)

**Note, we will require you to work Saturday

 

About You:

 

You will be customer centric, savvy and motivated by supporting customers to get the best service in their home. We also look for individuals who are always keen to learn, eager and look for ways to constantly improve and evolve.

 

Other requirements for this role are:

 

  • Must be from Whangarei and have great geographical knowledge of the area
  • Must have a Full Clear NZ driving licence
