About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior People & Culture Advisor to join our fantastic team. Reporting directly to the Senior People & Culture Business Partner, you will play a vital role in supporting strategic initiatives that foster a positive work culture and the achievement of RHCNZ's overarching strategic objectives.

As a trusted advisor, you will be relied upon to deliver sound advice and support as well as generalist support as required to enable the recruitment, retention and development of RHCNZ’s workforce.  Working within a tight-knit team, you will establish strong connections with the region you partner with, to enable the development of impactful people and culture strategies and initiatives.

 
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Working closely with the Senior Business Partner and leadership to address HR challenges and support effective delivery of HR initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor providing guidance for managers and employees on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and policy interpretation, and proactively address arising issues
  • Support the delivery of effective performance management frameworks, conducting assessments, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing targeted interventions to enhance workforce productivity
  • Assisting the P&C team to improve and implement people strategies to foster a positive workplace culture

About You:

You will be a savvy HR generalist with exceptional relationship management skills.  Your proactive and collaborative approach will be valued within this exceptional team.  You will also demonstrate:

 
  • The ability to contribute, understand and provide guidance on HR practices and procedures to senior leadership   
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills
  • Experience across ER, workforce planning, change management, remuneration and reward and performance management
  • Experience using workforce data to analyse strategic initiatives and identify trends
  • Commitment to actively supporting and promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives across our organisation
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels
