We are looking for an experience financial accountant to assist a large government department. ASAP start for 3–6-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute accurate month-end processes for attestation, ensuring compliance with general ledger and balance sheet requirements.
- Complete accruals, provisions, and prepayment entries with precision and timely validation through robust calculations and analysis.
- Conduct detailed monthly General Ledger Balance Sheet reconciliations for all entities, addressing outstanding items promptly.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers, ensuring validation of control, detail, and existence of individual assets for overall register accuracy.
