Talent & Capability Management

About the Company:

Kiwi centric, and purposeful!
Southern Cross Healthcare is a leading provider of healthcare across NZ. They are successful and ambitious – you walk in the door, and you feel it!
With a huge network of highly skilled professionals, across a wide range of healthcare facilities and services, they reinvest their profits to enhance the wellbeing of all New Zealanders.

About the Role:

…it’s all about the ‘Build’ and the ‘How”!

Step into an exciting, newly created position where you will play a key role in shaping the future, for the likes of leadership development, talent management, and succession planning.
Collaborating closely with all business units to assess needs – you will then determine the best approach for execution of strategy, be it enabling delivery of programs or driving forward strategy action plans.
As part of a dynamic team of four, reporting directly to the Head of Talent and OD, and with a clear line of sight to the CPO, you will be at the forefront of people development initiatives.
…DE&I, talent identification, capability uplift, refinement of processes, or targeted leadership programs; you will lean in at every level.

About You:

You’re inquisitive by nature – you love to lift the lid on things;
You’re a “go-getter” – you tackle stuff head-on, and with diplomacy;
…and you know what good looks like – a thought leader!
Technically, while experience in the Healthcare sector is a plus, it’s not a must have. What’s essential is your 7+ years of well-honed experience in strategic program design across Talent Management and Org Development.

If you have evidence of driving high performance strategy with a future workforce lens, this will stand you out from the pack!
You exude warmth and care, but with a relentless focus on sustainable outcomes; and while collaboration and being hands-on is a given, you know how to just get on and get things done…
