About the Role:
This newly created role is an exciting opportunity for a savvy marketer with existing brand management experience who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As Assistant Brand Manager, reporting to the Head of Marketing & Innovation, you'll play a crucial role in executing marketing strategies across Dairyworks' brand portfolio. You'll manage NPD projects, shopper activation, and brand communication campaigns, with a focus on crafting content that builds brand visibility and love.
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, execution, and post-evaluation of marketing activities, including shopper activation, brand communication, and PR opportunities.
- Own and manage Dairyworks' online presence across New Zealand, Australia, and key export markets. This includes creating social media content calendars in collaboration with agency partners and managing the Dairyworks website.
- Manage and support innovation projects such as NPD or range extensions, working with cross-functional teams and agency partners.
- Analyse and interpret market data, shopper insights, and marketing activities, providing actionable insights to optimize future campaigns.
- Conduct consumer research and explore global trends to ensure the brand and product portfolio remains relevant and innovative.
About You:
Ideally you will come from an FMCG business with experience in either a Marketing Assistant, Coordinator or Assistant Brand Manager position.
- You have 1-3 years' marketing or brand management experience, preferably within FMCG.
- A degree in marketing or a related field.
- You're an excellent communicator, confident in presenting ideas and influencing others.
- You have experience using shopper data and brand tracking tools to derive actionable insights.
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in marketing is a plus.
- You possess a good understanding of P&L.
- Your attention to detail is exceptional, and it's one of your key strengths.
- You have experience managing projects.
- Energetic and enthusiastic, you're always proactive and eager to get things done.
- You excel at juggling multiple responsibilities and managing your time efficiently.
- A proactive problem solver, you're always looking ahead to address potential challenges.
