About the Role:


This role supports the Senior Accountant and Financial Controller by managing daily financial tasks, ensuring accurate and timely supplier payments, maintaining transaction records, and fostering strong supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:

  • Process high volume supplier invoices
  • Sort, code and match invoices
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions including credit card statements
  • Prepare and perform detailed account analyses to identify discrepancies or irregularities
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and follow up on overdue items
  • Perform daily balancing and reconciliation of Greentree to all bank accounts
  • Prepare accurate and timely bank reconciliations
  • Assist Senior Accountant with managing doctors’ accounting processes, including
  • revenue, rental, and related reconciliations
  • Support the Patient Liaison with patient statement queries
  • Process employee expense claims
  • Generate and produce monthly reports on accounts payable status and metrics
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and perform other tasks as required

About You:


You’ll be an experienced Accounts Assistant or Accounts Payable specialist who understands end to end Accounts payable and basic accounting principles. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical. Beyond technical skills, you’ll have a strong work ethic, drive, a  genuine motivation to succeed, and eagerness to work for a values-based business.


Experience:
  • 2-3 years+ experience in a similar role
  • End to end accounts payable experience
  • Diploma or higher qualification in accounting (or equivalent)
  • Greentree experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge of cash and bank management
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures
  • Proficient in data entry and management
