About the Role:
This is a temporary role stepping in to support the team while the PA/Office Manager is away on leave.
This role provides support to the team and works in three locations. A typical week typical week might look like: Monday (Henderson or working from home), Tuesday (Henderson or Glen Eden), Wednesday (New Lynn), Thursday (Glen Eden), and Friday mostly work from home.
- Foster a positive working environment and engagement with internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate and manage responses to enquiries and escalations
- Provide high-level administrative support to board members and leadership
- Coordinate community events and engagement activities
- Maintain and update stakeholder databases
- Support the Manager with administrative tasks and contribute to overall team efficiency
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including IT and office maintenance
- Order supplies and coordinate room bookings
About You:
- Previous PA/Office Manager experience
- Well-organized and able to manage time and tasks efficiently
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Respectful of different cultures
- A positive, reliable team player who’s happy to support others
- Confident using digital tools like Zoom, Teams, and similar platforms
- Communicates clearly and thoughtfully, both in writing and in conversation
- Discrete and aware of how to handle sensitive or confidential situations
- Able to write clearly and professionally for different audiences
- Enjoys building good working relationships and offering great support
- Confident interacting with a wide range of people
