About the Role:
Are you an experienced IT support professional looking for your next opportunity? We’re seeking a confident, capable Level 1 Service Desk Engineer with at least 1 year of commercial experience to join our service desk team immediately.
This is an ideal short-term contract for someone who enjoys problem-solving, providing excellent user support, and working in a fast-paced IT environment. You’ll be joining a reputable brand and a team that values professionalism, collaboration, and great service.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Acting as the first point of contact for IT issues via phone, email, and service desk tools
- Providing first-line troubleshooting for:
- Network and connectivity queries
- Hardware peripherals (laptops, printers, phones)
- Handling password resets, account lockouts, and general support requests
- Logging incidents accurately and escalating when needed
- Maintaining service desk documentation and knowledge base content
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on, commercial IT support experience
- Strong understanding of common support tools, systems, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Calm under pressure and customer-focused
- Fully available from May through to the end of July
- Immediate availability is essential
