About the Role:
In this key role, you’ll lead the way in defining and driving their security strategy—making sure customer privacy, data, and access are safeguarded at every step. You’ll work closely with teams across the business to assess and choose the right security technologies, embed best practices, and provide thought leadership on our client’s broader security architecture.
You'll have a seat at the table, representing New Zealand in global security forums and governance groups—so strong communication and the ability to influence at all levels will be essential. You’ll be hands-on in designing, testing, and implementing security systems that support and protect the way the business operates. From collaborating with architects and engineers to working with key stakeholders, your ability to lead, influence, and bring people together will be the key to strengthening their security posture and aligning it with the organisation’s strategic goals.
Responsible for translating our client’s strategic vision into actionable security architecture patterns for the New Zealand business, ensuring the protection of customer data, operations, and digital assets.
Provides thought leadership on key security architecture topics, including Zero Trust, identity and access management, and other critical domains.
Evaluates the current technology landscape to identify gaps and recommend solutions that align the security target state with our client’s broader enterprise architecture goals.
Works collaboratively across teams to assess and select security technologies, ensuring best practices are integrated into solutions from the outset.
Actively participates in architecture governance forums and supports the Information Security Governance Forum, contributing to the development and enforcement of security standards.
Leads the development and execution of security strategies and roadmaps, while representing New Zealand’s interests in our client’s global security forums and initiatives.
