Business Process Analyst

Imagine being part of a respected leader in the insurance sector, with a strong presence across New Zealand and Australia. This company is well-known for its people-first approach, blending innovation with integrity to deliver genuine value to customers. They take pride in fostering a culture that is inclusive, supportive, and team-driven. Here, collaboration isn’t just a catchphrase; it’s how things get done.

In this role, your focus will extend beyond just systems and documentation; it will centre on connecting people, teams, and projects. You will engage with various departments, diving deep to understand current operations and helping to shape how they should function in the future. Whether it’s launching a new product, adapting to regulatory changes, or enhancing customer experiences, you’ll be at the heart of it all supporting cross-functional teams in defining, delivering, and embedding improved ways of working.

As part of the Project Management Office (PMO), you will play a crucial role in driving operational clarity and project success. Your contributions will ensure that teams are aligned, supported, and primed to deliver outstanding outcomes. You’ll collaborate closely across the organisation to identify and improve workflows, leading the analysis and optimisation of end-to-end business processes.

Think about leading workshops, facilitating discovery sessions, and engaging stakeholders in meaningful conversations to align goals and priorities. You won’t just provide structure and clarity; you’ll transform ideas into actionable requirements, ensuring every project runs smoothly through effective governance, documentation, and reporting. Your commitment to continuous improvement will inspire teams to adopt new tools and mindsets, integrating them seamlessly into their daily routines.

We’re looking for someone with over five years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally across a diverse range of projects and industries. You are a natural collaborator, skilled in building trust and bringing people along on the journey. With strong process mapping and improvement skills, you possess a strategic mindset and can thrive in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments.

Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Visio is advantageous, and while experience in financial services or insurance is a plus, it’s not essential.
What awaits you here is more than just a job. Picture yourself in a genuinely collaborative team culture where everyone supports each other to achieve great work. You’ll enjoy fully subsidised medical insurance for you and your immediate whānau, enhanced parental leave benefits, and additional well-being leave. You'll also have the flexibility to work from home part of the week.
This is an inclusive, values-led organisation that celebrates diversity and is committed to empowering you to thrive. This Business Analyst role represents a unique opportunity to shape how teams collaborate, how projects come to life, and how a leading business creates an impact for its customers.

Join and help build the future of work - one process, one project, one team at a time. Apply now to be part of this transformative journey.
