About the Role:


This exciting role has been created to partner with the Head of On-Premise and sales team, where your financial acumen will drive the profit performance of key accounts and support overall commercial financial decisions. As a senior team member, a key aspect of the role is earning stakeholder trust, which requires strong communication skills and the ability to build effective partnerships.

You will deliver valuable insights into promotional profitability, sales demand volumes, financial forecasting, quarterly customer business reviews, and sales reporting, while also analysing market data to ensure your recommendations are well-supported and evidence based.

It’s essential you are familiar working in a process orientated environment as you will be instrumental in embedding strong governance and efficient processes that enhance decision-making and build trust in your work and the team. Your analytical expertise will not only shape the understanding of monthly operating results but will also contribute to strategy development and business reviews.

About You:
 

  • Have 5+ years of experience in a commercial role, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing sectors.
  • Understanding of FMCG-specific metrics like trade promotions, retail pricing, SKU rationalisation, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Proven experience supporting commercial teams (e.g. sales, marketing, category management) with insights and performance tracking.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a solid track record in financial analysis and interpreting complex data to drive business performance.
  • Ability to effectively provide insights and commercial analysis to support decisions and confident to influence and collaborate cross-functionally with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong communicator who is prepared to challenge areas of concern to ensure accuracy in reporting figures.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • CA, CPA, CIMA qualified.
