About the Role:
 
  • This exciting role reports into the Head of Marketing and works closely with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, partners and agencies.
  • This role is like no other, you will be working and collaborating with a large network of precinct operators (restaurants, bars, hotels) and marketing partners with plenty of creative scope and opportunity for ongoing professional development.
  • This role is  responsible for supporting all marketing and communications initiatives for Viaduct Harbour, including precinct branding, promotions, activations, PR and content planning across social media, eDM and website.
  • If you are a creative generalist marketer with a flair for storytelling, social media and campaign management experience and a love for premium food & beverage experiences this role is for you! Bonus if you have previous destination marketing or agency experience.
  • This is a brand marketing role, with social, PR, activations and promotions in the mix  – it’s broad remember!


To let you know a little more, this role will:
  1. Manage brand and marketing campaigns across paid, earned and owned channels with the support of creative, PR and media agencies.
  2. Lead all content management across website, social media (Meta, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok), website and eDMs.
  3. Support the ideation and delivery of events and activations.
  4. Engage and manage influencers, brief and manage film and photo shoots.
  5. Work collaboratively with Viaduct Harbour hospitality venues to support the promotion of restaurant and hotel events, activations and experiences.
  • As you’d expect this role requires a high level of stakeholder management and collaboration to support and deliver marketing campaigns and activations. This includes creative and PR agencies, Viaduct Harbour venues, partners etc
  • We are looking for a real go-getter who is comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a team, a creative, ambitious and proactive person who is passionate about building premium destination brands.
  • You will have experience and exposure in multi-channel and experiential marketing as well as website content management, leading social media, eDM (Campaign Monitor or similar programme), events and media/PR. Good creative eye and copywriting skills are required, and experience partnership with agencies.


About You:
 
  • This is an intermediate level marketing role, and we are looking for true generalist marketer with experience delivering end to end campaigns and brand activations, from brief to production, implementation and optimisation. You could also be an agency suit looking to go client side, ideally with some marketing experience.
  • If you have destination marketing experience, this is a bonus! Otherwise, if you are a passionate and proactive brand champion, have strong project management skills and attention to detail coupled with creative flair in terms of content and copy get your CV in the mix and let’s talk!
  • You will have experience developing and rolling out marketing content calendars and implementing campaigns with the consumer and brand at the heart of everything you do.
  • If you have experience in campaign management, social media marketing, brand activations, managed eDMs  via Campaign Monitor or similar, and media/PR - then we want to hear from you!
  • Bonus if you have Figma, InDesign, Photoshop or video editing for small jobs that is great- but not essential  
  • Natural relationship management skills  a must. You will be able to navigate ambiguity at times, work well autonomously as well as part of a team, we are looking for real initiative and drive here. You will have managed key agency relationships  from brief to review of campaigns and continuous optimising. You will be positive, resilient, resourceful & results focussed.  You will have outstanding communication skills both verbal and written.
