About the Company:

Our client is a well-known business, operating in the consumer retail space.

About the Role:

This is a broad financial accounting role that will see you working as part of a busy team in a high -volume environment.  

As part of a team of 8, you will report into the Financial Controller and will have a broad remit working across all month end activities, taxes and supporting payroll.

You will work with Google Docs, Xero and iPayroll in this role.
We are looking for an immediate (or close to it) start for this role that will see you enjoying a flexible working culture, with 1 day work from home and flex around start and finish times.

About You:

This role will suit an experienced Financial Accountant who has worked in similar broad accounting role previously.  It is likely that you will be CA or CPA qualified (or similar).  You will have really strong month end accounting skills, knowledge of tax (Australian tax knowledge would be a big advantage).  
You will be curious, keen to get stuck into the detail and lift up the hood to understand how things work.  There is opportunity to support the team in improving processes here.

Experience working in a complex business is required as this is a high volume, mass customer environment.

Along with your strong accounting skills, we are looking for someone with great communication skills who can build relationships within finance and the wider business.
