We’re on the lookout for a contract-savvy Project Manager who’s ready to jump in, take charge, and deliver. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with a respected organisation in the insurance sector, well known for their people-first ethos, collaborative culture, and smart, values-led delivery.
The Role:
You’ll sit within the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) and lead the end-to-end delivery of business-critical projects - from scoping and planning through to execution and handover to BAU. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and project sponsors to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to the work.
This is a great contract for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to get projects across the line. You'll be relied upon to coordinate multiple workstreams, manage risks and issues, report to senior stakeholders, and ensure benefits are realised.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading delivery across the full project lifecycle, ensuring outcomes are met on time and within budget
- Driving cross-functional engagement with business owners, sponsors, and vendors
- Facilitating project meetings and maintaining documentation with the support of a Project Coordinator
- Ensuring change management and benefit realisation are built into each phase
- Managing project reporting, risks, dependencies, and resources effectively
- Supporting and contributing to ongoing improvements in PMO practices
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years’ experience in project management roles, with a strong track record of contract delivery
- Experience delivering in high-compliance environments (insurance or financial services ideal)
- Proven ability to manage moderate to high complexity projects or multiple small to medium initiatives
- PM certification (Prince2, PMP, or equivalent)
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Confident navigating Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches
