About the Role:
A hands-on leadership role where you will lead and work in conjunction with the management team to continuously implement, influence, and drive the Business Strategies and vision relating to the Supply Chain functions.
A PD is available.
About You:
You will probably have a relevant Tertiary Qualification and a high level of experience in all facets of Supply Chain management including relevant procurement and S&OP experience. You will be a natural leader, someone who inspires their team members and others within the wider business to want to be part of continuous improvement initiatives, creates a work environment where people are excited about what is happening and as a result are strongly self-motivated.
- Procurement of materials from NZ and overseas. (Including trading commodities)
- In-depth knowledge of and experience with transportation related functions and processes
- ERP/MRP applications and implementations
- Proven negotiation skills resulting in significant cost savings and measurable service improvements
- Experience in multi-site management including third party logistic providers
- Strong presentation skills with advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
- Strong planning, project management and logistic skills to meet critical milestones
- Proactive and energetic with effective time management skills
- Strong commercial skills to meet product costing, budgeting and Gross Profit performance criteria
- Attention to detail and able to maintain work performance under pressure
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Lean methodologies
