Data Integration Engineer

They are currently seeking a Data Integration Engineer to design and deliver the architecture that connects systems across eCommerce, Point of Sale (POS), loyalty programs, suppliers, and data platforms. The Role

As the Integration Engineer, you will lead the creation of seamless, scalable, and secure integration solutions throughout the organization. Reporting to the Finance & IT Manager, you will be responsible for designing the integration architecture, developing robust flows using Azure services, and ensuring best practices are implemented across all interfaces.

You will collaborate closely with a diverse range of stakeholders—from marketing and finance to external technology partners—to translate business needs into future-proof solutions.


What You’ll Be Doing

- Designing and leading integration architecture across both cloud-based and legacy systems 
- Building and maintaining API and ETL flows that connect customer, supplier, and internal systems 
- Utilizing Microsoft Azure services: Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management (APIM), Function Apps, and Data Factory 
- Defining logging, error handling, and data quality standards across all integration points 
- Embedding automation and fallback mechanisms to support business continuity 
- Promoting reuse and standardization through clear documentation and best-practice patterns 
- Collaborating with enterprise architecture teams and contributing to strategic decision-making 


What You’ll Bring

- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years specializing in API and data integration 
- Proven experience in designing and delivering integration architecture on an enterprise scale 
- Strong hands-on expertise with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth2, JWT, and secure protocols 
- High proficiency with Microsoft Azure integration tools and event-driven architecture 
- Solid understanding of resilience, performance, and security design in integration flows 
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code 
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams 
- Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for business stakeholders
