As the company continues to grow, it is looking for a Head of Finance to steer its financial future and contribute to its ongoing success story.


About the Role:

The Head of Finance will be at the helm of the company’s financial activities, ensuring meticulous financial planning, analysis, reporting, and control processes. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and the board, this role involves leading the finance team, managing daily cash flow, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
The Head of Finance will prepare compelling business cases for strategic initiatives, including potential system upgrades, and provide insightful analysis to support decision-making. Collaborating with various teams, including Retail, B2B branches, and the warehouse, they will drive financial excellence and ensure alignment with strategic goals. The role also includes managing tax responsibilities, overseeing payroll, and continuously improving financial systems and controls to mitigate risks.


About You:

The ideal candidate will bring previous experience in a similar role within the import, distribution, and retail industries, armed with a professional accounting qualification. You should possess strong financial acumen, paired with excellent analytical and commercial thinking skills, and be proficient in ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Your stellar communication and interpersonal skills, along with a proactive, hands-on management style, will set you apart. A commitment to continuous improvement and the ambition to grow into a strategic CFO role over time are essential.
