About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Framework Pioneer: Develop robust data governance frameworks and policies, championing best practices across the organization.
- Management Maven: Advocate for the importance of data management, driving organizational uplift through people, processes, and innovative technology.
- Tooling Guru: Dive deep into data tooling and technology, using platforms like Informatica, Collibra, and Alation to sharpen data quality and governance practices.
- Risk Navigator: Identify and articulate data risks, working closely with teams to develop strategies that safeguard valuable assets.
- Vendor Whisperer: Build relationships with data technology vendors, ensuring the right tools are in place to support our governance roadmap.
- Regulatory Guardian: Stay ahead of data privacy compliance requirements, guiding technology and governance decisions to align with industry standards like GDPR.
Who Are You?
- A data governance champion with a proven background as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
- Someone with an analytical mindset ready to tackle complex challenges and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with DAMA DMBOK principles is a bonus, along with experience in vendor relationship management.
